Share the Love Friday

I've been working hard on some WIP's this week and it looks like many of you have too!  Here are some of my favorite finishes of the week!

I love the masculine feel of this quilt that Vanessa made for her brother-in-law.  I have to admit that I make a lot of "girly" quilts and I think she did a great job with the pattern and fabrics to really make this one manly!
I have loved seeing all of Sharon's posts on Instagram about each of these B & C themed blocks!  What makes this quilt so special is that it is two quilts in one!  That's right, it's double-sided!  LOVE!

I love that Ashley chose a simple block patchwork to piece this quilt!  It is such a great way to showcase those beautiful and bright AMH fabrics!

This is one of the cutest teacher gifts I have ever seen!  Any teacher would be lucky to get one of these lovlies!

Chrissy shares her tutorial for making this sweet little mug rug on her blog.  I love the texture that it creates!

I love the fussy cuts and hand stitching that Rachel uses on this little mug rug!  Too cute!

I am really loving Kate Spain's newest line, Paradiso!  I love the geometric shapes and I'm always a sucker for a bright floral!

Best. Cinnamon Rolls. Ever.  I have been using this recipe for a few years and I can honestly say that they are my absolute favorite!  They are also my extended family's favorite. They ask me to bring just about every time we get together, ha!

The only thing I do differently is top it with cream cheese frosting using this recipe:

2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese - almost room temperature
1/2 cup salted butter - almost room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups sifted powdered sugar

Whip cream cheese, butter, and extract together until it's light and fluffy.  Add in the powdered sugar and whip until smooth and fully incorporated.  You will probably have some leftovers, so make sure to refrigerate them!

You can also make these into the best Orange Rolls using the same recipe by Our Best Bites and substituting the following:

1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons orange zest

Cream Cheese Frosting:

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon orange extract or enough orange juice to get the consistency you want

Hope you saw something inspiring and lovely today!  As always, if you have a finish you would like me to feature, email me at
