In With the New

It's been a busy month for me and I am so excited to FINALLY share with you what I've been doing!

I can finally add pattern designer to my list of titles!  This last month I released my  first two patterns, Starry-Eyed and Blustery Day.

Starry-Eyed is a lovely quilt that looks a lot more complicated than it really is.  It is a 9 block quilt entirely made up of flying geese, half square triangles, and squares.   I asked a couple of people from the Utah County Modern Quilting Guild to pattern test for me and here are their finished blocks . . .

Thank you ladies for doing such a great job!

Blustery Day is a cute crib sized quilt composed of framed double-pinwheels. Add a couple more rows and it is a perfect summery picnic quilt, don't you think!?

So who's ready for a little sew along?  I started making a Blustery Day quilt this week using Riley Blake's ever so cute fabric line, Enchanted, and I would LOVE for y'all to join me!  Just go to my Etsy shop and purchase either the PDF or paper pattern and then send me your pictures of your blocks/quilt top/finished quilt. If you are already an Instagram member, make sure to post that you are joining the Blustery Day Sew-along, use #blusterydaysewalong, and tag me @sewinlovequilting!

Four blocks down .  .  .  only 31 more to go!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!
