Ever since I was a little girl, I have LOVED to make things with my own two hands.  I remember going to the craft store with my grandma and picking out an unfinished wooden bird house, taking it back to her house, and painting and decorating it with her that afternoon.  We just sat there alone, talking as we crafted.  That is one of the most memorable moments I had with Grandma.  Since then, I have experimented with many other forms of creation:  from painting and wood crafts, to homemade rolls and quilts.  I think I've probably tried it all!

Last year, I came across this quote . . .

I put this quote right where I can see it every day to help remind me that the desire to create is something that I was born with.  We all have this innate yearning towards creativity!

And on the days when my "to do" pile is getting larger and larger, and I can't quite get to it, I remember that the DESIRE to create is good enough too!

Of course I couldn't think about creation without thinking about these 3 little cuties that I co-created.

So, what is it that truly makes you creative? What have you done that makes you a creator?  This video really puts it in perspective for me.  This messsage is geared towards women, but it definitely applies to men as well!  Check it out!
